What are We Going to Do?

I've got a few ideas I'm considering exploring and would value any feedback. Consider this section as me thinking out loud.

I'm leaning towards a focus on visual literacy and in particular, exploring practical and meaningful ways to use images, audio and video in our classrooms. I'm also hoping that no matter what grade or subject level, these ideas will work in all situations. I'll need your help in making those connections. Here are a few ideas we might play with.
  • Hacking Video....discovering quick and easy ways to use video in the classroom
  • Words and Text as Visuals
  • Flickr, the best multi-purpose visual textbook
  • Designing audio
  • Improving literacy by becoming better photographers

I'll flesh out those ideas more but would also love your input. We have a full day together so if you have an idea, project or anything you'd like to explore more, drop me an email dean@shareski.ca and I'll see how we might build that into our day.
Looking forward to learning with you all.
